Day 29 thoughts.  Phagefinders. 

Planned:  students will help cleanup the lab, reflection on experiences, photo-taking.  How we can contact each other in the future. 

Make a PDF of these 30 days once finalized in order to allow for easier printing...merge the days, etc. 

Did:  Note: Amanda's sample 43, has a very light, lysogenic phage within it.  She cultured this to F0.  If we want, next year we can go back to this sample and culture the phage from here. 

Today's materials:   

Pointers:  An Intel Microscope (around 50$ on ebay) is a great way to photograph phage plaque morphologies.  Digital camera photography is a bit difficult, because of the need for a good macro function.
